unsure if this issue would be related to what is going on or not. It appeared that attempting to start services timed out when it was going through its thing, so I will try to poke through that log to see what I can find there. I did attempt to run the certificate manager, however at some point I get an error message that says everything failed and it rolled back the changes. I'm attempting to start services again, and will monitor vpxd throughout tomorrow to see if this was the improvement I needed.

dev/sdh is now reporting as 15gb / 63% full instead of 10gb / 95% full. Running through the other commands, everything else seems to be fine. Warning: Unable to open /dev/sr0 read-write (Read-only file system). When attempting to run 'partprobe', I received the following error message: I /think/ that it was successful, however there was a caveat: Gerard, I went through and tried to do this. # Display new mount point info which should show new size Lvresize -l +100%FREE /dev/mapper/seat_vg-seat # Resize the logical volume that holds /storage/seat There are several disks with identical size so don't just rely on the size alone.īASH # Resize the physical LVM volume to use all of the new available space Don't assume the 8th disk is the correct, look for the actual channel:target number.Ī final sanity check is that disk 8 (SCSI 0:8) listed in vSphere is at 25 GB disk and that matches with the df output. In my case it was also the 8th disk (the numbering happens to be in sequence but only because I've never messed with the order, removed and/or added disks). My /dev/sdh maps to 2:0:8:0 which means host:channel:target:lun and you are interested in channel:target.

In some cases, vSphere may change the VM-id. Openstack security group association has dependency on the vm-id as well. OpenStack Nova refers VM-ID for its function, e.g. The MOB populates the browser with actual runtime information. The MOB lets you examine the objects that exist on the server and navigate through the hierarchy of live objects by clicking on links. The Managed Object Browser, or MOB, is a Web-based server application available for all ESX/ESXi and vCenter Server systems.
